SUMMARY:August Safety Committee Meeting – Trench Safety
DESCRIPTION:Join our Safety Committee for August’s meeting on Trench Safety. This will be very on point with the alarming rise of trench related fatalities and accidents.  Earlier this month, OSHA released a news brief stating that 22 workers have perished in trenching accidents in the first 6 months of 2022, surpassing 15 in all of 2021. ABC-NJ will be scheduling a Trench Safety Class in the second week of January 2023.\nTopic: Trench Safety\nPresenter: Mike Dudek, MJD Safety Services\nMike is the instructor for many of the OSHA and safety classes hosted at ABC-NJ.  Class attendees appreciate that he tailors his classes to his audience and is extremely engaging.\n Safety Committee meetings are a member benefit, and are held monthly\non the 3rd Thursday at 8:30 a.m., in-person (breakfast provided) or virtually.
