SUMMARY:Apprenticeship CORE Outreach Program Job Fair
DESCRIPTION:Get quality facetime with apprenticeship candidates from across the state who are taking their first steps to a lifelong career in the trades. Our Construction Oriented Readiness Education (CORE) class began last month and offers 70+ hours of introductory training to help students begin their careers in the trades. They will be on-site completing a hands-on performance profile examination as part of their training and will be prepared to meet with potential employers.\nApprentice candidates are generally made up of recent graduates and second-career seekers new to the construction trades. ABC-NJ works with member companies to train apprentices to become highly skilled craft professionals.\nIf you are interested in hiring an apprentice candidate but unable to attend, we have several resumes on file and would be happy to send some your way. All apprentices must work full-time with one of our member companies, with a goal of 2,000 hours/year in specific disciplines within their designated trade.
