Government Affairs Committee

Mission: To advance and protect ABC’s interest in the legislative arena and to promote member involvement in the political process.

Membership Committee

Mission: To identify and recruit potential members who believe in the merit philosophy. To educate the membership on ABC services and help to promote involvement in the association. Create and volunteer to help ABC NJ run value added networking opportunities for members.

Education & Training Committee

Mission: To provide a comprehensive, membership-guided curriculum of educational programs targeted to employees of construction at all levels.

Safety Committee

Mission: To build and cultivate a culture of safety among our members to help all our member employees to go home safe every night.

Events Committee

Mission: To promote the capabilities of our membership to the construction user public, and to educate those users on the advantages of using Merit Contractors. To educate the membership on ABC services and help to promote involvement in the association.

Young Professional Committee

Mission: To build tomorrow's leaders today by encouraging career-minded individuals through leadership development, training and peer evaluation while focusing on the merit philosophy.

Let your voice be heard! Sit among like-minded decision makers when you join a committee at ABC. As a committee member, you will have an insider perspective of the many different initiatives within the New Jersey Chapter. Most committees meet at the chapter office on a monthly or bimonthly basis for 1-2 hours and consist of 5-10 members. Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national trade association representing more than 21,000 members from more than 21,303 construction and industry-related firms.
